I hardly ever blog my opinion but I was disgusted last night watching the American Music Awards. I wouldn't usually watch the AMA's by choice but I did manage to flip to them right as Adam Lambert was about to perform. Now, pre-last night I really liked Adam. The humble guy from American Idol who could belt out power ballads in tune. I'll admit, I wanted him to win and I was excited to see what kind of music he would create on his own.
Umm... that "excitement" didn't last too long.
Adams provocative performance at the AMA's was nothing short of disgusting. I cannot believe the network, ABC, and the producers of the AMA's would allow such offensive "dancing" on live tv(if thats what you want to call it). Whatever happened to the FCC and regulating what is allowed on television? I am extremely dissapointed in the lack of taste and class that was shown by Adam in his performance. I truly hope that there is repremand for his actions... i know I wont be listening to his music.
That is all.

Gosh, He is SO FAMOUS!
So yes, my husband is famous.
It all started one day in a local Ballard, WA climbing shop called Second Ascent. We were browsing for used gear, I was oozing over tele boots while jeff was drooling over some ice axes. At check out we were shooting the breeze with a local about the climbing areas when jeff laughed and turned to me, "do you recognize that jacket?" I looked out the window at a guy passing by... "umm no?"
"No, No... on the sign!" Suuuure enough there was Jeff's photo on a IO/BIO clothing rack. AWESOME!!!! I told the checker to promise to give me the sign when they are done with it. Yup, Famous... but thats not all...

On the rack and.... the photo by Nate Young.

This week we found out Jeff had a page and a half spread in the new December Issue of Powder Magazine! (only the best ski mag out there!) The photo was taken by Steve Lloyd in the Brighton Backcountry.

Congratulations JEFE!!!!!!!!
